Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Wednesday that it has licensed The Two of Them Are Pretty Much Like This and Nightfall Travelers manga. It also licensed the I’m Not Meat: Get Your Filthy Paws Off Me! under its Ghost Ship adult imprint.
Seven Seas will release the first volume of Takashi Ikeda‘s The Two of Them Are Pretty Much Like This (Futari wa Daitai Konna Kanji) manga in April 2022. The company describes the manga:
Thirty-year-old Eri and twenty-year-old Wako are “roommates.” Eri is a professional writer, and Wako’s a voice actor who’s building up her reel. Having worked together and now living together, these two women in love have a nice little life for themselves! Follow this comfortable couple in a heartwarming manga tale about the everyday humor, stressors, and joys of a life shared together.
Ikeda launched the manga in Gentosha‘s Comic Boost manga website in January 2020. Gentosha published the manga’s third compiled book volume on August 24.
North American manga publisher One Peace Books released Takashi Ikeda‘s Whispered Words manga in May 2014. The manga ran in Media Factory‘s Monthly Comic Alive magazine from 2007 to 2011, and Media Factory published nine compiled book volumes. The manga inspired a television anime that aired in 2009. Crunchyroll streamed the anime outside Japan as it aired.
Seven Seas will release the first volume of Tomohi’s Nightfall Travelers (Yūyake Trip) manga in May 2022. The company describes the manga:
Akane, a member of her school’s newspaper club, has a new assignment: write about the “haunted” places in her sprawling town. She decides to invite the new (and seemingly lonely) transfer student to come with her on her ghost hunt, sparking a friendship between them. As the two girls embark on their own little adventure down labyrinthian staircases, across cryptic sidestreets, and through dark and foreboding tunnels, they discover that there might be some truth to all the spooky stories, after all!
Tomohi launched the manga in Hobunsha‘s Comic Fuz website in December 2019. Hobunsha published the manga’s first compiled book volume on March 1.
Seven Seas‘ Ghost Ship imprint will release the first volume of Ikkado Itoh’s I’m Not Meat: Get Your Filthy Paws Off Me! (Boku wa Oniku Janai) manga in June 2022. The company describes the manga:
A handsome young copywriter at an advertising agency has a problem: horny girls make him nervous. In his eyes, they look like wild beasts attacking their prey, and he’s not eager to be feasted upon. In this outlandish sex comedy that explores the feral nature of sexuality, witness the world through the eyes of a man being stalked by sexy beasts–in his view, a veritable menagerie of animals all ready to pounce on him!
Itoh launched the manga in Shogakukan‘s Monthly Spirits magazine in July 2020. Shogakukan published the manga’s second volume on May 12.
